Accessibility
Everybody should be able to find a home here
Housing is not optional, so neither is access to it. We build this site to WCAG 2.2 Level AA and treat shortfalls as defects, not requests.
What we hold ourselves to
- Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- Text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background.
- Form controls have real labels, and errors are announced rather than shown only by colour.
- Images that carry meaning have alternative text. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- The site works at 200% zoom and at narrow widths without content being lost or requiring horizontal scrolling.
- Motion is reduced automatically for anyone whose system asks for that.
Accessible homes
Site accessibility and home accessibility are different things. If you need step-free access, a ground-floor bedroom, a wider doorway or another specific feature, contact us and we will tell you honestly which of our homes can accommodate it rather than leaving you to guess from photographs.
If you have a disability and need a reasonable accommodation or a modification to a property, we will work with you and the owner to arrange it, as fair housing law requires.
Tell us when we get it wrong
If any part of this site or any listing is difficult to use, email hello@rimiliving.com and describe what happened and what you were trying to do. We will reply within one business day and tell you when it will be fixed.
